Materials and finish
  • Faux leather (PU on a poly backer), 1.2 mm, engraves to a clean contrast tone.
  • Seven stock colors. Custom colors available on runs of 250 or more.
  • Edges are laser cut and sealed — no fraying, no stitching required.
  • Genuine full-grain leather is available as a separate product if you want the real thing.
Artwork requirements
  • Vector art (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) gives the sharpest engrave.
  • Raster art is accepted — we'll trace it at no charge and send you the proof.
  • Engraving is single-tone. Gradients, photos and fine halftones won't reproduce.
  • Keep strokes at 0.5 pt or heavier so they hold at final size.
  • Cut-to-logo shapes need a closed outer path with no open ends.
Applying heat seal patches
  • 300°F for 15 seconds at medium pressure with a cover sheet.
  • For structured hats, use a cap press or a hat pillow so the patch seats flat.
  • Let it cool fully before handling — the adhesive sets as it cools.
  • Sew-on backing is recommended for heavy workwear and anything industrially laundered.
