Grommets, rope and pole pockets
  • Grommets are free at every placement in the list — all sides, any two sides, or a single side. Default spacing is every 2–3 feet; 1–2 feet, 6–12 inches and corners-only cost nothing extra.
  • Need grommets in specific spots? Pick custom placement and describe it in the production notes. Still free.
  • Rope is sewn into a welded hem along the top, the bottom, or both. Because it needs that welded hem to hold, it can't be combined with grommets.
  • Pole pockets replace hemming and grommets entirely — the material folds over and welds to form the sleeve, so there's no hem to grommet.
  • The $15 pole pocket setup fee is charged once per banner size. Ten identical banners with pockets pay it once, not ten times.
Material and finishing
  • 13 oz scrim is the standard — matte, conformable, roughly two years outdoors in the Northeast.
  • 15 oz is heavier and hangs flatter. Worth it on anything over 6 feet or anywhere wind is a factor.
  • 18 oz blockout carries an opaque core so lighting behind it doesn't show through.
  • 18 oz double sided prints both faces against that blockout core — two full-color faces, no ghosting.
  • Every edge is heat welded, not taped. Taped hems let go in the first hard freeze.
Artwork requirements
  • 100 DPI at final size is plenty for a banner. 150 is generous. 300 is a waste of your upload time.
  • Build at full size or at quarter scale — tell us which in the production notes and we'll scale it.
  • Keep critical text and logos 0.5" inside the trim — that is the safe area drawn in the preview.
  • Grommets are 5/8" across with a 3/8" hole, set 0.95" in from the edge to the centre of the grommet. Keep logos clear of that ring.
  • Pole pockets eat about 4" of height each. Design around them or your art shifts.
  • Add 0.25" bleed on all sides. We'll mirror the edge if you forget.
Turnaround and shipping
  • Ordered before midnight, it prints overnight and ships the next day.
  • Same-day rush ships the day you order it if the file is in before 1:00 PM Eastern. The rush fee is 100% of the product price.
  • Shipping is $15 flat for up to 999 sq ft of banner, and another $15 for each additional 999 sq ft. Rush orders ship at the same rate.
  • Everything moves on overnight service, blind, with your company on the packing slip.
  • Banners ship rolled face-out on a core. Nothing is folded through a design.
